2017 Nominations for the RAIC College of Fellows

Deadline: October 31

In 2016, we were pleased in learning that four of our MAA members had been elected into the RAIC College of Fellows. Their nominations had been submitted by their peers, evaluated by the College and Robert Martin, James Orlikow, Dudley Thompson and Kent Woloschuk were deemed to be worthy recipients of the honor.

Nominations for candidates for 2017 are being requested for consideration and nomination packages for Manitoba RAIC members must be submitted to the Regional Chair before October 31.

If anyone is considering making a submission, remember that the nomination should be made without the candidate’s knowledge, as it is intended that the individual is being recognized by their peers for the work they have done for the betterment of the profession.

The application forms are available on the RAIC website. They have been recently updated to clarify the process and assist the nominators in developing the focus of their submission.

Don Oliver, Manitoba Regional Representative, is available to discuss the process and clarify any questions regarding the nomination applications. He can be reached at or (204) 943-6767.

Annual Ken Pratt Memorial

September 15, 2016

It’s soon time for the fall flogging classic. And time to take advantage of what will hopefully once again be a beautiful afternoon at Bridge’s Golf Course. The MAA will be using a Texas Scramble format, with n o pre - determined handicaps; and, as has been the case for the past number of years, the only handicaps will be those which are self - imposed and identified in advance.
