Implementing Lean Construction

November 18, 2015 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

In a marketplace that is growing more competitive every day, we need to learn how to become more productive without sacrificing quality. Lean Construction tools and methods are designed to help your organization do exactly that: become more effective and more efficient – to satisfy your customers and your shareholders.

You will understand the history and evolution of Lean Construction and learn how to apply Lean principles throughout the life of a project with a particular focus on the Last Planner System – a production planning system designed to improve project work-flow and reduce waste – and continuous improvement. We will use hands-on simulations to demonstrate how to use Lean Construction tools and you will leave with the ability to start transforming your projects immediately!

This full-day workshop builds upon the basic principles introduced in the Introduction to Lean Construction workshop and is designed for all members of a construction project team, from Executives to Field Supervisors. Although not mandatory, we do recommend taking the Introduction to Lean Construction workshop.
