Banff Session 2016 - Convergence

May 13 + 14 • Banff, AB

Every two years, the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA) holds a conference in Banff, Alberta – nestled in the picturesque Rocky Mountains. The conference, appropriately titled Banff Session, has a long and illustrious history. Having a well established reputation with consistent and enthusiastic support from delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors, Banff Session celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2016.

The 21st century is an era of Convergence. The spheres of psychology, environment, economics, methodology, and purpose are blurring and rapidly evolving. Architects and Interior Designers are left with the unique challenge of reconciling these multi-dimensional conditions to create environments that are not only relative to the era we live in, but also respect and honor our historic professions.
