The MAA wishes to remind its members of two important upcoming deadlines:

February 28, 2021

  • Initial deadline for payment of registered, intern and associate membership dues (without penalty).

May 31, 2021

  • Final deadline for payment of all membership dues, practice fees and corporation assessments; and
  • Final deadline for application for renewal of all Certificates of Approval issued in prior years.

Please also take note of the following, as and where applicable:

  • The ‘gateway’ into the online credit card payments option can be found on the homepage of the MAA’s website;
  • The credit card system option tracks online payments in real time, so please take that into consideration (payments made or processed after midnight on the day of the deadline are late); and
  • Since The Architects Act requires annual application to be made for a Certificate of Approval, the renewal form must include the original signature of all registered members, as identified at the bottom of the form (no electronic signatures are permitted, nor can the renewal application be submitted by way of email).
