Lead a Jane’s Walk in 2015

Nearly two months into the new year and the Jane’s Walk organizing team has started meeting to plan for Jane’s Walk 2015. This year’s festival of neighbourhood walking tours is Saturday May 2nd and Sunday May 3rd.

Last year Jane’s Walk Winnipeg saw 24 walks organized in neighbourhoods across the city. It was also our biggest year in terms of attendance and media attention. It was a great weekend and this year we are working on plans to enhance the festival and offer new walks, more walks, and walks in communities we have not yet connected with.

But we need your help: Jane’s Walk is organized by people like you with a passion for their communities. We are looking for people to get involved and volunteer for Jane’s Walk in 2015.

  1. Lead a Jane’s Walk in your community. Help us spread the word about our Open Call for Walk Leaders, or consider leading a Jane’s Walk yourself!
  2. We are looking for volunteers to join our organizing team, as well as volunteer walk marshals to help out on Jane’s Walk weekend. Interested?

Email Matt Carreau at janewalkwinnipeg@gmail.com.
