This centenary has us all reflecting on the foundations of our community, our current period of revitalization, and boldly looking forward at how we will shape our future with this year’s Festival theme “The Next Century | Go Flat Out”.

Wednesday, May 14 to Friday, May 16
9am – 4pm
Red River College, Notre Dame Campus
This hands-on course will teach the concepts of building information modeling, parametric design, and construction documentation through Autodesk’s Revit software. Through the use of intelligent building components and interdependent views of the building model, students will see how and why this type of software is transforming the way we produce presentation and construction documentation with the added ability to glean statistical and quantitative information from it. Using Revit 2014, this course will lead students through the process of building an architectural metric commercial building model. Students will learn how to customize levels, walls, windows, doors, and floors; how to create 3D interior and exterior views; how to customize views; how to annotate a drawing view; and how to populate drawing sheets.
Class size is limited.
